Here I am at the 2010 Great Hawaiian comic convention. We had a record number this year, FOUR! You can see how excited the fans are to get their picture taken with their favorite comic artist. I didn’t have the heart to tell them that I did not draw “Garfield." Good times, good times.
Well our dairy goat should have her babies any day now! That means milk for everyone! Don’t turn up your nose, goat milk is great! I love living on a farm and I love having goats and chickens and geese and chickens and ducks and chickens! Yes sir, we are living the farm life and loving it! So if I tell you that I found a poor lost little brown cow, you can rest assured I’m not talking about some silly facebook game. I don’t play farm.
i live it.
Any who….Every ten pages I want to add a new page called back stage with the cast. This will give the cast koa, Ku and the rest of the gang a chance to interact with the readers. As you will see the cast are the cartoon actors that are in the Aydellon and as such they enjoy getting letters and feedback. In theater this called “breaking the fourth wall” and I love doing this! The cast will be also announcing a contest so stay tuned for that the prize will be an original signed drawing! Whoo hoo! There has been some confusion about Ku’s character. Is he a good guy? Is he bad? Well you’ll just have to see, as I always said about Ku, he is what he is. Okay I have to go work on my go-kart. Gulp!
here’s an actual production model sheet. wow!
here is a model sheet of KOA. its supposed to keep him looking the same in each page!

I am doing everything for the first time this month! Writing my first blog. My first time slaughtering a sheep. My first time making a soapbox racer.
And this is the part that really scares me. A soap box racer. For those that know me, you know that I do not know how to use a hammer. I never cared and now here I am a large hairy man that cannot make things like tree houses and go-karts. It’s sad really. Can anyone else relate? I don’t know how to use power tools and I can’t fix cars and other mechanical stuff. But this month I AM GOING TO BUILD A GO-KART. For my children and myself. I looked up the plan on the net and it looks really hard. What the heck is an axel? I thinking I don’t have to follow the plans, I’ll just wing it, you know. I’m a pretty creative guy I don’t need to make it all complicated. Do I? It’s going to be beautiful I can just see it. I don’t know why all the design plans have to look so complicated, I mean c’mon the kids in the 50’s didn’t do it like that did they? The only thing I can’t seem to figure out is the brakes. I’m really excited about the direction of the Aydellon and can’t wait to show you all the cool characters I have in store!
Your pal le0
